Making a blog is a way for anyone to share their life experiences and even publicize their business. To date there are no real code of ethics developed for bloggers to follow but there are three common sense ethic codes that anyone should follow while they are running their blog articles. These are the code of ethics that will prove you as a loyal blog owner.
1. Fair and truthful:
You have to be fair and truthful to your supporters. You want to make sure all the data you provide is fair without adding any false information. If you should happen to provide any info, in your site that may appear to be fake; you need to provide your reader with factual info to back up your statement. If you are adding footage to your blog add captions underneath to clarify to the reader about the picture. Harm of others:
When you’re making a blog topic on a very debatable issue avoid using any ones names or places. This could defend you from any suits and also from injuring visitors’ feelings. A good motto for this code of ethic would be, say to others what you would need them to say about you. You also need to be certain that you protect a person’s privacy. Invading a person’s privacy is rude as well as intrusive. If you don’t want somebody doing it to you then do not do it to others. A good way to avoid violating this blog code of ethic is to avoid using names or places if it all practical.
