You need to keep in the forefront of your thinking the objective of the article is to get them to wish to go to wherever it is you would like them to go or to take the action you would like them to take. Almost all of the time an article is going to have the intention of making them click a link so they can go to another site where you ask them to purchase. Answer the majority of the questions but ask more questions than you respond in your article and tell them that to find the remainder of the answers they’re going to have to follow that link.
The beginning and end of a selling article is incredibly critical. The beginning of the article has to make them need to read the remainder of the article all the way to the end. It has to lay out what would keep you interested. Ask yourself what is it that I’m going to try and say and would this really keep my interest. What would capture my attention? Look at other articles and see what it is that catches your eye and use that for inspiration.
The end of the article has just one purpose, and that is to make them follow your lead. You have to not only give the rationale to click that link or follow your chosen course of action for them, you’ve got to ask them to do it. A link on it’s own won’t often get clicked. Folk want to get asked or told what to do. People need direction and that is why they’re reading your article in the first place. Give them the direction that they need to take and tell them or ask them to do what you want them to do.
When you have begun to writing a selling article, just keep in your consciousness that you are telling someone about this service or product and so the person you are talking to is truly interested in what you’ve got to say. For them it is actually exciting as you are giving them what they want…information about something that is important to them. If you can talk to a chum intelligently about something that you have a mutual interest in, then you can write a marketing article naturally.
